I received an email about two weeks ago saying I may have trouble with my emails. I've lost access to one of them completely. This company is totally non-responsive about it, and their online repair portal's verification is ridiculous, as I have no way to give them the information they want without access to the email.

My Windows and Microsoft accounts were hacked and stolen. I use my laptop for work, and they have stolen my Windows and Microsoft credentials, as well as Microsoft Office that I pay for annually.
My computer was hacked and I changed all my credit cards, so I can't tell you what they were. They put $21,000 on one of my Visa cards. My stolen emails were linked to GoDaddy domains that I had paid for.
I am 65 and not very computer savvy. I beg you to call me at 850-258-****.

It would be much better if an actual agent would be available to assist customers. The answering robots are not as helpful.
I need to recover my account as I get a lot of important emails and I woke up to Microsoft informing me that my account is suspended. I am the only one that access my email. When I tried to recover my account by having the system send me the verification code via text message.
It reflected that it is unavailable and this is unacceptable. It is very difficult to recover anything without that service being provided.

I contacted support and they said they couldn't save my data because it was deleted, if you can't log in to your xbox account CONTACT SUPPORT FAST they can transfer data before it's deleted.
So, Microsoft owns Xbox, failed to save my account, and now it's deleted. A hacker just targeted my computer and changed the lockout time to 3:00 PM, and Microsoft has done nothing about it.
I even tried getting my mom's email back with every bit of info.
When the support said it's guaranteed, the email I received said otherwise. They did not approve, so I will have to create a new email.

I was happy to play Minecraft on my PS console, but the account got signed out and deleted. However, it is still linked to my PSN account.
I am trying to log on to a new account and it's not working.
I'm dissatisfied with this and want to play Minecraft with my friends. I know you might not read this and learn, so please read this and learn.

Currently at 3 hr 56 minutes over several days on hold on the phone plus additional 95+ minutes trying to navigate "self help" on their "support site".
Trying to solve a simple software access issue with Teams but...
e.g. 37 minutes to get the first connection with a business support person.
They tried to work the issue but did not have access to the information they needed so they tried to transfer me to the right person 5 times but got disconnected 5 times.
I was asked to track down more information through my bank. Called back on the "hotline" which took another 25 minutes to get connected. That person disconnected as soon as we connected but did not call me back.
Called back on the "hotline" again and another wait of 35 minutes to get connected. That person wanted different information so now we are waiting to transfer to that department.
I just spent 15+ minutes waiting on that and just got disconnected again.
You should not get to claim "longer than normal hold times when hold times are always so long" at different times and days. MS has an appalling record for reviews like this one.
No option for a call back. No information about length of hold times. No ability to screen share.
No call backs after you disconnected me multiple times during transfers. No ability to communicate smoothly between their own people. No apparent ability to escalate issues. So many silos.
You share our information overseas but cannot track a few simple pieces of information that would have solved my issues in minutes. How about investing a few bucks in your systems MS? Your people are trying their best but you leave them so poorly equipped to help customers.
Whatever happened to your company and its culture? You are costing me time, money and embarrassing me with my clients.

I run an appellate law practice on my Apple iMac., using WORD On November 30, 2024 Microsoft sent something that totally screwed up the way I use documents and my files. Turns out it was One Drive.
After approximately 3 hours trying to reach customer support, and looking everywhere I could on-line, I finally, more than an hour and a half after I requested assistance, received a call back. By that time I had moved the application to trash. The rep said that''s what she would recommend, so I thought problem solved. Not so.
One Drive is cancer. It came right back. Tried for another 2 hours to reach someone at Microsoft and all I got was endless links. The link for supposed One Drive Assistance was only a link to buy the product.
Instructions on the internet were not germane. So I tried Apple, where I did reach a human, who tried valiantly, but could not get rid of the damned thing. Another hour down wasted. Microsoft is insane if thinks what they provide is the way of the future, Their customer service has deteriorated dramatically - when by some miracle someone can actually reach it.
I will never buy Microsoft again and will cancel my WORD subscription as soon as it expires.
GARBAGE ALL AROUND. Still messes up my practice, and has cost me hours and hours of aggravation and wasted time.

I truly don't know what to do. Microsoft has been sending me email after email, all complaining that a charge did not go through on the card on file and for me to make a payment -- but did they think even once that adding a new card might help?
Never mind; I did that. I added TWO CARDS -- but they have vanished from the account! They are still using the card that was deactivated because of an unauthorized transaction on January 17, 2024 and I have sent to them a PDF of the email that my bank sent to me confirming that the card in question was deactivated on that date. But does MIcrosoft pay attention to that?
Why should they? They apparently get their kicks by harassing the one customer whose card is no longer valid and EVERY LAST EMAIL THAT THEY SEND MENTIONS THAT CARD BY ITS LAST FOUR DIGITS!!! I have enough documentation to sink a ship to explain that to them, but if they don't know how to read, that won't help. I have been in chats with them and the agents all make up stories that are proven to be lies when I continue to get the email notices of failed payments from the same card!!!
What am I supposed to do?
What is their problem other than no functioning brains? I truly cannot believe that a company as well established as Microsoft is so sloppy about the way they "manage" their website and their accounts. I have written so many complaints against them that apparently nobody can get through to them. I feel I'm just wasting time and energy trying to get through to them because they have made sure that there will be no way that I can ever make contact with a human being who can and will correct the problem which is not a difficult one to resolve, but apparently, they enjoy harassing me with one email after the next that just proves their inefficiency!
I wish I was making all this up.
Unfortunately, I'm telling the truth 1000% and still nothing is getting done. I have no idea what to do that I haven't already done. I even sent a huge envelope with documents explaining the problem to their office in Redmond, Washington via certified mail, but if they can't read -- and they probably can't -- that won't change things. This goes beyond being idiotic.
I can do no more than I have already done.
I have been through quite a few challenges in my lifetime on both sides of the Atlantic, but none have come close to being as utterly devoid of minimum intelligence as this one. I truly don't know what to say or do now.
Nothing works, nothing at all. It's not like me to give up, but I'm feeling that's my only option now because making Herculean efforts to get through to them is not working at all.
Preferred solution: I'm wondering if litigation is my only option. Nothing else is working. If I have to litigate, I will not be demanding small amounts after all the misery and suffering that I have already endured.
User's recommendation: Do everything you can to avoid any contact with Microsoft. If you work in hi-tech, you may end up taking drugs or developing a drinking habit to try to live down what Microsoft does to you.

First of all, it's virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone at Microsoft. I had someone *** my account, steal all my money, and send it to a Microsoft account.
When I finally did get in touch with someone, they kept trying to get me to download some app, presumably to steal my information. They kept hanging up on me and nobody has yet refunded the $850.00 they've stolen from me.

Over 10.5 hours now trying to resolve an access issue for software that had been working and now is not.
Over 2 hours to get to a live person then internal transfers kept getting disconnected. Called back on the "Hotline".
After another 20+ minute wait the person disconnected without talking with me. Forced to go back through all the additional prompts and back to the start of the line again. Lines that are super static. Online help is a horrible maze and trying to navigate just winds you back where you started.
No courtesy information about how long holds will be.
How about funding some live support and fixing your own communication systems? You have had abysmal ratings for customer support for years now.
It's not your people it's the systems currently in place. If I gave that level of service in business I would be out of work.

I'm 88 and need a representative to understand the problem and help me. They wanted me to go to one of their websites for help, which was ridiculous.
I don't know what else to say. ZZZZZ.

Huge incident it was , t even though my pc is not connected to any internet access the log recorder in my computer identified Windows 86x ..exe and many exe. working without out of my hand .
Also some of exe . an access my private file in Local on PC like stolen personal information and exe .change many settings or delete files so its possible that my computer was be like a ***

Yeah I've been trying to do a simple email alias change and it's taken over a month. I put in a ticket last month and nothing...go to call someone today about it and apparently microsoft is run by USELESS A.I.
as if they thought a bot could replace a real associate. I've wasted so much time tring to do it myself and the A.I.
on the phone literally just tells me to go online and do it...Why do you think I'm calling support??? WTF IS THIS COSTUMER SERVICE???
