I was never able to authenticate an account, now I'm $40 behind in my bank account. The representative told me I should just cancel my debit card if I need these transactions resolved and this is a subscription!
So I'll just keep getting charged!! I shouldn't have to authenticate an unknown account. I should be able to cancel anything by calling in and giving them my debit card information. I have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for a new debit card!!
What a poor way to handle a customer complaint!!! It's extremely difficult to try to get a refund for a fraudulent charge.

I truly don't know what to do. Microsoft has been sending me email after email, all complaining that a charge did not go through on the card on file and for me to make a payment -- but did they think even once that adding a new card might help?
Never mind; I did that. I added TWO CARDS -- but they have vanished from the account! They are still using the card that was deactivated because of an unauthorized transaction on January 17, 2024 and I have sent to them a PDF of the email that my bank sent to me confirming that the card in question was deactivated on that date. But does MIcrosoft pay attention to that?
Why should they? They apparently get their kicks by harassing the one customer whose card is no longer valid and EVERY LAST EMAIL THAT THEY SEND MENTIONS THAT CARD BY ITS LAST FOUR DIGITS!!! I have enough documentation to sink a ship to explain that to them, but if they don't know how to read, that won't help. I have been in chats with them and the agents all make up stories that are proven to be lies when I continue to get the email notices of failed payments from the same card!!!
What am I supposed to do?
What is their problem other than no functioning brains? I truly cannot believe that a company as well established as Microsoft is so sloppy about the way they "manage" their website and their accounts. I have written so many complaints against them that apparently nobody can get through to them. I feel I'm just wasting time and energy trying to get through to them because they have made sure that there will be no way that I can ever make contact with a human being who can and will correct the problem which is not a difficult one to resolve, but apparently, they enjoy harassing me with one email after the next that just proves their inefficiency!
I wish I was making all this up.
Unfortunately, I'm telling the truth 1000% and still nothing is getting done. I have no idea what to do that I haven't already done. I even sent a huge envelope with documents explaining the problem to their office in Redmond, Washington via certified mail, but if they can't read -- and they probably can't -- that won't change things. This goes beyond being idiotic.
I can do no more than I have already done.
I have been through quite a few challenges in my lifetime on both sides of the Atlantic, but none have come close to being as utterly devoid of minimum intelligence as this one. I truly don't know what to say or do now.
Nothing works, nothing at all. It's not like me to give up, but I'm feeling that's my only option now because making Herculean efforts to get through to them is not working at all.
Preferred solution: I'm wondering if litigation is my only option. Nothing else is working. If I have to litigate, I will not be demanding small amounts after all the misery and suffering that I have already endured.
User's recommendation: Do everything you can to avoid any contact with Microsoft. If you work in hi-tech, you may end up taking drugs or developing a drinking habit to try to live down what Microsoft does to you.

My iCloud got hacked, and since them all my emails, bank accounts being compromised.
With gisele_gomescosta@***.com they added an unknown email as security and Im not able to change or recover my original and secure info.
I need this email since still connected to main accounts and social media personal and commercial.
I need this email to be removed and assistance on recovering my account w security. Please.
You have charged me twice
I called a support number and the representative said I had to repurchase the 365 program. They charged $106 then, a month later, did an automatic renewal for $76 which they charged to my American Express account.

They got this bulldog automated system that says, goodbye. And no one ever give you no support.

They bluescreened my laptop. Geek Squad didn't even seem surprised when I told them.
Their whole facial expression changed like they've seen this a hundred times before. I called about audio recognition software issues.
She brought my laptop to a restore point. I let it restart, and when I booted my laptop up, there was a critical file missing, which I knew because I kept getting 'CRITICAL PROCESS DIED' - also known as BIOS, also known as the blue screen of death.

Locked out of my account!
I can't get ahold of customer service. I can't call Microsoft or Xbox support and the robots do not help at all.
My account has been locked because of "suspicious activity" aka for no reason at all. I have TSV active I own all the emails and passwords for the TSV and the main email and when I try to log on it blocks me off at the very last step saying my account is locked. How can I unlock my account without yalls help? I have all the info yet I'm blocked and the last person that emailed me said they couldn't help because of the TSV.
SO how can I fix it?! Yall locked my account but can't unlock it?! And I can't fix it even though I have all the passwords and emails? I just got a notification that the email was removed from my family just now.
I need help please I feel like I'm being ignored!

once you tell one number what kind of support you need, the system recognizes your number and just tells you to see their self help articles without going through the automation again.
got an email, said they cant prove i'm the owner, HAHA im losing it. POS company, id never recommend this service to anyone.

I've been receiving emails from Microsoft regarding my cloud account for months but forgot my password and haven't been able to access my account. At this point it's been more than a year since I've even had access to a computer because I've been homeless going on 2 years and don't have a place to keep one or use one for that matter but I've been trying to access my saved documents and photos to transfer to my iCloud account so they're not deleted and I need important medical records I seem to only have stored in that account.
For months I've emailed and called and emailed and replied to automatic emails they send me that's basically rubbing the information stored in the account in my face as if to say "haha it's here but you can't access it" like it's some god d...
joke, which I'm sure to them it is. Nobody replies to emails, they're not providing an alternate way to log in although I've filled out.the requests 30x. Inside the documents stored with them the a$.holes would even find multiple copies of my driver's license, social security card, birth certificate etc that I can provide proving my identity but insead they play games. The phone connects you to am AI that doesn't know the difference between an as* and *** in the ground and online won't let you connect with a person unless you sign into an account which is my whole damn problem wrapped up in a nut shell.
Once I access and remove my information I will never buy, use or support another Microsoft product for the rest of my life.
This corporation is a prime example of everything wrong with the world just like Walmart which I've also stopped supporting after 22 years of giving them my hard earned money and loyal support while owning a business. You all made your fortune off of us then turn against us when we actually need you to do your part.
Preferred solution: Talk to a live agent who can help acces my account so I can remove all my data and get the medical records I e been trying to to get for over a year!
User's recommendation: Let us talk to a damn live agent whether we can log into an account or not because when logging into the account is the problem you literally get a run around from retarded AI that doesn't recognize the difference between a request and a medical emergency which is what I'm facing without these records.

Microsoft is for the rich, and they give you a long assignment to complete before you can actually get through to them.
